September, the 11th, 1996 I was working in an Aircraft refurbishing association called CAEA. http://caea.free.fr and a pilot who was visiting us very often has proposed two free places for a flight. The helicopters were equipped with a water tank during the summer season. As there were no fire threat at this moment, these tanks were removed.

Aerolune - A captive balloon over Bordeaux SW of France - October 1999 Aerolune was a captive balloon allowing to have a very nice point of view at 150 meters over the ground. Unfortunately, the company exploiting this balloon doesn't exist anymore. A captive balloon means that people will have a tour once only. So this company has fallen into bankruptcy after few months.

A flight over Bordeaux in a Bell 47 helicopter - Mid May 1996 These pictures have been taken during the Bordeaux annual international fair in May 1996. It was possible to have a tour in helicopter at a really cheap price. The flight was around ten minutes which was enough to burn a film.

A flight over Bordeaux in an Ecureuil helicopter - Mid May 1998 These pictures have been taken during the Bordeaux annual international fair in May 1998. It was the latest year this possibility was offered. It was the opportunity to use a 36 exposures film and taking pictures from places ommited during the previous flight.

Balloons Airshow in Bordeaux - Late June 1998 Again, an initiative which has got no future. A balloon airshow inside the city. This was a really nice occasion to take interesting pictures. The Quinquonces place in Bordeaux is a central point and is wide enough to allow such performances.

December the 31st, 1999 and the few first seconds of January, th 1st 2000 in Warsaw - Poland. This set is really small, due to a hard disk crash. The film is Fuji Provia 1600.

Nightshots - Pictures taken in low luminosity conditions The following pictures are made in uncommon situations with 1600 to 12500 ASA films. In most cases, the lens is a standard 50mm f1/1.8 objective.

Again pictures taken in really special conditions. The very first ones have been taken in early June 1986 while flying to Casablanca - Morroco. The other ones have been made more than ten years later with a Kodak T-MAX 3200 ASA film pushed at 12500 ASA.

Again low luminosity conditions pictures. The Mont Blanc at dawn, while flying from Bordeaux to Munich. Some pictures are anaglyphs made with the plane's displacement. The film is a Fuji Superia 1600 and the Camera is an old Pentax equipped with a standard 50mm F1/1.8 lens.

A virtual tour Katin Museum - Warsaw, Poland Evidences and remains from what has been one of the worst massacre during the second world war after the concentration camps. Inside the latest Photo Plastikon in Europe This photoPlastikon is located in central Warsaw, just in front of the main railway station. The owner is also a stereo pictures amateur, so there was not difficulty to make pictures from the inside part.

Here is the camera which has allowed to take the big majority of the anaglyphs presented here. The most recent have been taken on the fly while moving the camera laterally of in flight while using the plane's displacement.

Anaglyphs 1st trials
The very first set of pictures taken with an Ukrainian Phed stereo camera in late 1995, and early 1996. The first successful results were obtained in Sept 1996 with a specialised software.

Bleida - A forsakken village in the Sahara desert. Some very old pictures taken with a Kodak Instamatic 100. This set of photos has been preserved intact since 1974. These pictures represent ruins located at the top of a mountain. This was probably a religious place.

Saucats Airshow - May, the 2nd, 2004
Saucats airfield is located at 20 km SSE of Bordeaux. This airshow was quite nice and well organised. All the pictures presented have been made with a Kodak DC-240, one megapixel.
