Title: Technical Manuals - Illustrated Parts Breakdown
Scope: This specification covers the requirements for the preparation of Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) Technical Manuals (TM). The TMs are to be prepared in single or subdivided format, or as a chapter of a maintenance⁄operation or overhaul manual, as specified by the acquiring activity (see 6.2). In addition to "paper" delivery, this specification provides for electronic delivery of data through use of the Document Type Definition (DTD) contained in Appendix A.
