Introduction
The US Department of Energy publishes several standards and handbooks. Majority of them concern civil nuclear power domains so they do not concern "normal" product development.
Anyway, some of the published documents are extremely useful like the:

Note: This website contains several handbooks which should be called "courseware" on various subjects like physics or thermodynamics.
